Position Type: Maintenance/Custodial/Grounds Worker Date Posted: 10/15/2024 Location: Coweta County Schools Operations Center Date Available: 2024-2025 Closing Date: Until Filled POSITION TITLE: Grounds Maintenance - 260 Day Calendar (2 Positions Available) $14.00 an hourJOB DESCRIPTION: Keep the grounds and landscape maintained at all school facilities. Maintain a daily maintenance schedule on all equipment used. Hold a valid Georgia driver license. Perform such additional responsibilities as may be assigned by the Lead Grounds. REQUIRED EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION OR TRAINING: High school diploma or equivalent, vocational school or combination of training or experience REQUIRED SKILLS: General knowledge of landscaping equipment (tractors/bush-hog, mowers, weed eaters) REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: Evaluated on an individual basis The Coweta County Board of Education reserves the right to accept equivalent qualifications as the Board may deem appropriate and acceptable.
