Ground Hand - Utilities ONE : Job Details

Utilities One is looking for a Ground Hand to join us in the Mississippi market.We offer you the chance to use your aerial construction and maintenance skills in fast-paced, challenging environments while working with one of America's fastest-growing construction firms.Responsibilities:

• Install aerial & underground telecommunications cabling, including fiber optics;
• Undertake pole removal & pole transfers, and set & install new aerial cables;
• Safely operate specific equipment and machinery;
• Operate hydraulic aerial lifts and ladders mounted to trucks;
• Keep a detailed record of work activity;
• Travel to different job sites within the market

Requirements

• A valid and unrestricted Driver's License is a must;
• Previous Cable Placement experience preferred;
• Ability to travel to different job sites frequently;
• Ability to lift around 50 pounds, safely climb ladders, and work in all weather conditions
