Summary of Position The Gross Anatomy Lab Director at Red Rocks Community College (RRCC) plays a key leadership role in managing and advancing the operations, instruction, and strategic development of the college's cadaver-based gross anatomy program. This full-time position blends academic administration, instructional support, and service to the college and broader community. The Director oversees the gross anatomy lab's daily functions, including budget management, compliance, and coordination with faculty, external partners, and accrediting bodies. The role is integral to ensuring ethical and effective use of human donors in instructional settings, while supporting faculty and instructors through training, curriculum design, and professional development. In addition to managing lab operations, the Director contributes to student success by teaching workshops and one credit-bearing course per semester, as well as supporting the Physician Assistant program's lab needs. The position also encompasses extensive service to the college, such as curriculum development, community outreach, participation in campus committees, and collaborative initiatives that align with RRCC's mission. Evening and weekend availability is required as needed to support lab programming and outreach. A successful candidate in this role will demonstrate:
