Healing Arts Veterinary Center has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Groomer to join our team! Candidates must have prior grooming experience, a portfolio of past work, and professional tools/equipment (clippers/scissors, etc) to be considered for this role. Our clinic provides cleaning supplies, shampoos, conditioners, dryers, tub, and groom table. You are responsible for all grooming services, from start to finish:
- Bathing, drying, grooming/hair cutting as requested by the client, styling, brush out, flea treatments, clipping/filing nails, gland expression, de-matting, ear hair removal, brushing teeth, and cleaning up
- Keeping your area clean throughout the day and at the end of the shift
- Engaging with customers to ensure their requests are understood
- Evaluating the condition of the pet and addressing any styling/grooming concerns
- Must have prior knowledge and comfortability working with all breeds, sizes, and temperaments
- Must have prior knowledge of breed grooming standards
- A certificate in grooming and a professional portfolio is required
