The Peninsula Golf & Country Club is excited to announce the opportunity of Greeter. Qualified candidates will thrive in a hospitality environment and be highly focused on providing superior service to the clubs managed by Troon. General Purpose: Presents a positive first impression of the restaurant's friendliness, excellent service and high standards. This person greets Guests upon arrival, informs Guests of their wait time, monitors a waiting list, enters Guest names into the computer system, shows Guests to their table and bids Guests farewell as they leave. This person continuously monitors guest needs and the workflow of the restaurant and communicates progress with leaders. Essential Duties: Greet incoming and departing Guests warmly with a genuine smile and eye contact; escort them to assigned dining area; present menus; announce waiter's name Inform Guest of current promotion and who will be serving them to ensure a smooth handoff to the service staff.
