We are partnering with a global consumer-facing enterprise in the food industry to hire a GRC Program Manager to support their Cybersecurity and Risk organization. This role is focused on delivering structure, prioritization, and oversight across risk remediation and compliance initiatives. You will work directly with the Chief Information Risk Officer and collaborate closely with security engineering, GRC, and broader technical teams to ensure risk-related efforts are executed effectively and aligned with business priorities.

Duration: 12-month contract-to-hire

Compensation: $70–$100/hr W-2 with benefits (C2C considered with LLC)

Hours: Full-time (40 hrs/week)

Logistics: 4 days onsite in New Haven County, CT

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and track execution of risk remediation workstreams across Cyber, GRC, and IT functions
• Partner with internal teams to assess current initiatives and align them to business risk and regulatory needs
• Identify blockers or inefficiencies and propose corrective actions
• Support executive reporting and metrics development with structured insights
• Ensure documentation, alignment to frameworks (e.g., NIST CSF, SOC Trust Criteria, ITGCs), and stakeholder updates are in place
• Manage delivery across multiple projects and ensure clear prioritization of efforts

Qualifications:

• 5–10+ years of experience in GRC, risk management, cybersecurity governance, or related fields
• Prior experience in consulting (Big Four or similar) strongly preferred
• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage complex remediation initiatives
• Strong communication skills with an ability to simplify complex priorities into actionable plans
• Familiarity with risk and compliance frameworks (e.g., NIST, SOC, ITGCs, regulatory standards)
• Proven project management and delivery skills
