What does a Graphic Production Lead at Hogarth do?

We are seeking a Graphic Production Lead to oversee teams of production artists responsible for web graphic creation for product launches and updates. The ideal candidate will have project management skills, graphic design experience, expertise in Photoshop, web or HTML email production experience, organizational and leadership skills, and an eye for detail.

Key responsibilities:
  • Coordinate workloads of graphic production artists, ensuring quality standards are met
  • Communicate with other Team Leads to optimize resource use
  • Work with cross-functional teams to deliver on project goals and timelines, ensuring efficient file handoffs for localization
  • Structure Photoshop comps to optimize workflows using slices, smart objects, and layer comps
  • Maintain version control and manage team QC processes
  • Review final deliverables for accuracy and quality
  • Identify and implement process, automation, design, and technical improvements
  • Create, update, and deliver training materials for team development
  • Maintain a motivating work environment for skilled Graphic Production professionals
Requirements:
  • 6+ years experience in high-volume web production or equivalent
  • Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams on creative tech experiences
  • Deep understanding of web production workflows and best practices
  • Management or leadership experience in web or graphic design
  • Strong project management and communication skills
  • Highly detail-oriented with a drive for perfection
  • Ability to handle multiple projects under tight deadlines
  • Ability to develop and optimize workflows and standards
  • Photoshop expertise for web production
  • Excellent design, typography, and art-working skills for web pages, emails, and banners
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, asset optimization, Sketch, Git, and web publishing
  • Experience in UI/UX design and understanding of 3D practices
  • Familiarity with CMS, image, and eDAM systems
  • Thrives in fast-paced environments, resourceful and adaptable
