The Child Watch Attendant is responsible for the care and safety of the children in Child Watch areas throughout the facility. Essential Responsibilities: Responsible for the safety, supervision and active entertainment of all children placed in Child Watch areas. Maintain readiness and cleanliness of the assigned Child Watch area by cleaning and organizing equipment, toys, and play areas as determined by protocols. Assure adherence to Safe From Harm program guidelines. Report any suspicion of child abuse or Safe from Harm violations to the Membership Director or Child Watch Lead. Enforce all guidelines that pertain to the assigned Child Watch area on a constant and consistent basis. Engage in developmental activities with the children checked into child watch that will ensure a quality experience during the childs stay. Follow check-in/checkout procedures for all children.
