Walter P Moore seeks a well-prepared graduate from one of the top engineering schools to join our firm's Construction Engineering Services team, a specialized team within the Structures Group. The role involves working on projects for contractors, steel fabricators, and erectors, supporting Project Managers by analyzing and validating structures at various construction stages, developing construction sequencing for complex structures, designing temporary structures, and steel connection design. Candidates should have strong computer analysis skills and coursework in steel design.

As a graduate engineer, you will participate in project design teams across various architectural projects, including commercial, sports, aviation, healthcare, education, and cultural buildings. You will also have opportunities to engage in our staff development program, MOORELearning.

• Master's in Civil Engineering with emphasis in Structural
• EIT certification
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with Tekla and Building Information Modeling (BIM) is preferred
• Strength in steel design, steel connection design, and structural analysis
• SAP 2000 modeling experience
• Work experience or internships with contractors, steel fabricators, or erectors is strongly preferred
