Job Description :
The Counseling Center at The State University of New York at Fredonia seeks applicants enrolled in a SUNY Graduate program to serve as the Student Wellness and Support Graduate Assistant: Prevention/Outreach Coordinator beginning August 2025. The successful candidate will be entrusted with the implementation and evaluation of the Counseling Center's THRIVE Campaign . Compensation & Benefits
  • Graduate Assistant will receive tuition waiver and stipend of $3,350 per semester. This is a academic year obligation, with possible renewal based on funding availability and performance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Reporting to the Clinical Director of Mental Health Services, the successful candidate will:
  • Develop and implement evidence-based wellness programs and workshops
  • Design print and social media marketing campaign
  • Develop and implement program impact assessment tools and strategies
  • Serve a diverse population of students in an inclusive and multiculturally competent manner
  • Provide outreach and consultation to the campus community
  • Be aware of, understand, and follow all university policies
Requirements: MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Enrolled in a SUNY Graduate degree program
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and in collaboration with others
  • Demonstrated commitment and ability to work with diverse communities
  • Ability to work approximately 20 hours/week, with occasional evenings and weekends, as required
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Demonstrated knowledge and skills in developing/facilitating/evaluating evidence-based wellness programs; project management experience
  • Experience working in a college/university setting with a diverse population of emerging adults
  • Supervisory and/or Marketing experience
