Be registered full-time for the respective semester nine (9) semester credit hours during the fall semester, nine (9) semester credit hours during the spring semester, or three (3) semester credit hours during the summer session or be registered in the required number of semester credit hours to fulfill the only remaining requirements of the degree plan.

Scope of Job

? Assisting in original processing of digital collections into ScholarWorks @ UTRGV , the institutional repository. ? Migrating, maintaining, or updating collections. ? Taking on special projects with academic departments, working with faculty members to keep progress going. ? Developing documentation when necessary, such as processing notes for future workers to explain how a collection changed.

Discipline Specific Required Qualifications

? Currently enrolled and in good standing in a graduate degree program at UTRGV ; ? Familiarity with word processing and spreadsheet programs (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel); ? Strong communication skills (both oral and in writing); ? Attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

Some familiarity with web design, digital publishing software, or graphic design
