JOB DESCRIPTION
- Griffon Aerospace, a leader in the Unmanned Aircraft System industry, is seeking an experienced and talented GFE Manager. This position supports a dynamic U.S. Army program with operations at multiple CONUS and OCONUS sites. The GFE manager is responsible for maintaining inventory accountability, responding to contract requirements and providing logistics in support of UAS operations.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Experts use automated accountability databases and asset management systems to manage government furnished equipment, property, and inventories in accordance with ISO/AS 9100 and DCMA standards. This includes monthly, quarterly and annual inventory audits.
- Strong knowledge of FARS/DFARS property regulations and DoD accountability standards.
- Warehouse management experience. Track and document movements of property for UAS missions. Update equipment and inventory records for each mission. Track GFE continuously.
- Ability to interface effectively with military, government civilians, contractor personnel, customers, and functional team members.
- Analyze and forecast demand of parts, equipment, tools and other property.
- Coordinate the calibration of equipment.
- Submit all documentation for overseas shipment including all HAZMAT declarations, packing lists, commercial invoices, etc..... including ITAR compliance with overseas shipping.
- Conduct annual property inventories and maintain positive control of government equipment.
- Recommend disposition and disposal of government equipment using Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE).
- Submit monthly reports and contract deliverables.
REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's Degree with 5 years of experience in inventory management, logistics and operations support, or related field; or comparable combination of education and work experience as a defense contractor.
- Ability to work with others in a supporting role.
- Strong organizational, process, and analytical skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to complete tasks.
- Experience in Wasp inventory systems or other equivalent inventory systems.
- MS Office computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Power Point, Word, and Outlook
- Valid state driver's license and ability to pass DOT Physical, preferred.
- Travel 10-15%.
