Reports to: Golf Course Superintendent, Assistant Superintendent(s), Field SupervisorEmployment Status: Seasonal; Full TimeFLSA Classification: Non-ExemptJob Summary:The seasonal greenkeeper works closely alongside all staff members in all aspects of turf equipment maintenance. This position requires a professional, driven individual who operates with the highest expectations and efficiency. Strong time management skills are required as it relates to completing necessary tasks in a timely manner before play. Individual understands the requirements and demands of turf maintenance equipment at a high-level private facility.Date Position Available:April - November 2025RequirementsEssential Duties & Responsibilities:Greens section workFix ball marks, tee & fairway divotsHand rake bunkers & cart-pathsBlow debris & dispose of clippingsMow greens, fairways, primary rough. Walk mow tees & collars, as well as walk mow rough around greens & bunkersTriplex mow approaches and runoffsRotary mow green and tee surroundsSpot water fairways/roughPump water from the golf courseNative workPerform any other reasonable job-related duties as instructedQualifications:Must be motivated by demanding work environmentMust possess a strong work ethic and attitudeWeekends, holidays, and evening workValid Driver's LicenseReliable and predictable attendance is requiredWorking knowledge and ability to use hand and power tools/equipmentStrong interpersonal and oral communication skillsMust be able to stand for long periods and walk, climb stairs, balance, stretch, bend, twist or reach, use hands to handle or feel, stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl.Ability to push, pull or lift up to 50 pounds, and to lift lighter objects overhead.Ability to develop and maintain awareness of occupational hazards and safety precautions; skilled in following safety practices and recognizing hazards.Salary Description $20.00 - $23.00 an hr.
