Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Analyst with 6 to 9 years of experience in Java Fullstack development. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Service Assurance and Industry Essentials. This hybrid role requires a dedicated professional who can work effectively in a day shift. Travel is not required.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain Java Fullstack applications to ensure seamless functionality and performance.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements for new features and enhancements.Provide technical expertise in Service Assurance and Industry Essentials to ensure high-quality deliverables.Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues to maintain system stability and performance.Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.Participate in the design and architecture of scalable and robust solutions.Implement automated testing and continuous integration to improve development efficiency and product quality.Monitor application performance and implement optimizations to enhance user experience.Document technical specifications, system designs, and implementation details for future reference.Mentor junior developers and provide guidance to enhance their technical skills and knowledge.Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to drive innovation and improvement.Ensure compliance with security and data protection standards in all development activities.Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions.Qualifications
Possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.Have a minimum of 6 years of experience in Java Fullstack development.Demonstrate expertise in Service Assurance and Industry Essentials.Show proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like Angular or React.Exhibit strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.Have experience with version control systems like Git and continuous integration tools.Display excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a hybrid work model.Show a commitment to staying updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.Demonstrate the ability to mentor and guide junior developers.Possess strong analytical skills to gather and analyze requirements effectively.Exhibit a proactive approach to identifying and addressing potential issues.Have experience with automated testing frameworks and tools.Show a strong understanding of security and data protection standards.Salary and Other Compensation
The annual salary for this position is between $95K and $115K, depending on experience and qualifications.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
