The US Regional Sourcing team is, a strategic procurement organization critical to ensuring competitive supply of high quality materials to the global manufacturing sites. The role, as part of the materials and equipment sourcing team is to ensure a sustainable material supply chain at the correct quality and quantity for internal users driving execution of qualification projects to deliver best in class performance. Essential Responsibilities include:Act as the primary sourcing point of contact in the region for stakeholders for assigned commodity(s) for both ongoing manufacturing operations and new product qualifications. Work with stakeholders to understand operation costs and with global sourcing team to identify cost saving and risk reduction opportunities to execute. Actively utilize strategic tools, processes & systems to support sourcing and analytical/reporting tasks.
