This role is pivotal in orchestrating people, processes, and resources to ensure the seamless execution of our Industry solution & asset agenda from initiation through completion. This position requires a blend of leadership, technical aptitude, and strategic vision. The individual in this role is responsible for planning, executing, and closing R&D initiatives, according to global guidelines and budgets. This includes alignment of resources and coordinating the efforts of team members in order to deliver outputs according to plan. The role also serves as the central point of contact for our 'best of' Industry solutions & assets, socializing among global stakeholders and capturing market feedback to inform changes to the portfolio over time. The individual will collaborate with industry asset engineering and global solution directors to drive depth and quality in the differentiated offerings we bring to clients, and activate the solution & assets with CALs and support shaping/advancing opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • R&D Initiative Planning: Develop plans that coordinate various technical personnel during all project phases, from initial design to implementation to client solutioning.
  • Resource Management: Support initiative leads in aligning resources and navigating dependencies and critical paths.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the point of contact for global solution & asset content. Regularly interact with teams & leaders to provide updates, manage expectations, and address challenges.
  • Budget Management: Prepare initiative budgets, track expenditures, and ensure delivery within financial parameters. Review budgetary performance and take corrective actions as needed.
  • Client Engagement: Support teams in bringing solutions & assets to internal team and showcasing with clients; capturing impact and ROI of these efforts.

Working Conditions:

  • Full-time position (40 hours per week), with flexibility to accommodate project needs and deadlines.
  • Hybrid work model, with a combination of in-office and remote work as required.
  • Potential travel to client sites, industry events, and partner locations.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Biology, Chemistry, Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
  • 5 years of Life Sciences/Healthcare industry experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of high-value consulting experience or equivalent internal consulting experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in R&D, preferably in Healthcare.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with digital & AI architectures and solutions; ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies.
  • Leadership & Interpersonal Skills: Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, facilitate meetings, and resolve conflicts diplomatically. Exceptional communication skills.
  • Analytical & Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong analytical skills, with the ability to assess complex situations, identify issues, and develop effective solutions.
  • Time Management: Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
  • Adaptability: Comfortable working in fast-paced, dynamic environments and able to adapt to shifting priorities and stakeholder demands.
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous in tracking project progress, identifying discrepancies, and ensuring the highest quality standards are met.
  • Stakeholder Management: Ability to build and sustain productive relationships with clients, vendors, and internal teams.

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York or Washington as set forth below.

  • California $132,500 to $302,400
  • Colorado $132,500 to $261,300
  • District of Columbia $141,100 to $278,200
  • Illinois $122,700 to $261,300
  • Minnesota $132,500 to $261,300
  • Maryland $132,500 to $261,300
  • New York/New Jersey $122,700 to $302,400
  • Washington $141,100 to $278,200
