About the Role

As a CBRE Global Procurement Director, you will assist with the overall planning and direction of the procurement function within the Industrial & Logistics sector.

This role is part of the procurement function responsible for sourcing and purchasing goods, services, or raw materials from vendors and suppliers.

What You'll Do
  • Lead all aspects of global procurement across 80+ manufacturing sites, focusing on EMEA and AMS regions (representing 90% of business and growing).
  • Drive strategic procurement integration for acquired brands, aligning with organizational goals.
  • Lead change initiatives across global sites, ensuring consensus and adoption of strategies.
  • Assess team structure and workload, optimizing and delivering results through effective leadership.
  • Apply deep technical procurement expertise, especially during acquisitions and expansion.
  • Communicate procurement strategies effectively, presenting outcomes compellingly.
  • Champion continuous improvement using lean principles and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Manage and develop team performance through supervision, training, mentoring, and evaluations.
  • Assist in creating and implementing organizational policies, playbooks, and materials.
  • Develop and execute regional sourcing strategies to meet program, corporate, and client goals.
  • Manage procurement budget and vendor relationships.
  • Resolve vendor disputes and define requirements for goods, services, and supplies.
  • Negotiate with external partners to reach common goals.
  • Identify and solve operational and organizational challenges.
  • Innovate existing methods, processes, and standards within the field.
What You'll Need
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with 8-12 years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of experience and education. Certifications such as C.P.M., C.P.S.M., or N.A.C.M. required or eligible.
  • Experience in staffing, training, coaching, and performance management is preferred.
  • Ability to communicate difficult information and set performance expectations.
  • Leadership skills to set and achieve targets impacting multiple departments.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong organizational skills and a professional demeanor.

  • Salary range: $150,000 to $180,000 annually, plus discretionary bonus and benefits including 401(K), health, dental, vision, life insurance.
