Role Overview

The Global Operations Manager (Country Launch) will support Starlink's mission to provide high-speed broadband worldwide. This role combines business planning, analysis, and strategic decision-making, directly supporting Starlink's leadership. You will analyze data, provide recommendations, and lead cross-functional decision-making and implementation.

Responsibilities
  • Develop comprehensive execution plans for market entry and rapid growth of operations.
  • Guide planning and resource management for specific verticals within Starlink, including business model development.
  • Identify and lead initiatives to improve Starlink's business outlook, including tracking and executing these initiatives with leadership.
  • Implement process and system enhancements to improve handoffs, customer experience, and scalability, while balancing resources.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external resources to ensure compliance and build strong networks.
  • Support and educate internal stakeholders on market requirements and timelines to achieve company objectives.
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in STEM, business, economics, or finance.
  • 4+ years of professional experience in business operations, project management, or strategic planning.
  • 1+ year experience abroad or working with international operations.
  • 1+ year experience with Excel and/or Python.
Preferred Skills and Experience
  • Success working in environments with competing priorities and tight schedules.
  • Experience leading complex operational and strategic initiatives.
  • Ability to independently manage projects.
  • Experience with SQL and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker).
  • Proficiency with programming languages such as Python, Javascript, R, HTML, XML, CSS, Ruby.
  • Strong communication skills, especially with senior leaders.
Additional Requirements
  • Willingness to travel up to 50%.
  • Willingness to work extended hours and weekends.
Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is $115,000 to $155,000 annually, with actual compensation determined based on experience and skills. Benefits include stock options, bonuses, comprehensive health coverage, 401(k), paid time off, and employee discounts. Employees in Washington State also receive paid sick leave and shuttle services from Seattle to the SpaceX Redmond office.
