Job Description The Global EDI Solutions Architect will provide technical oversight and support for the CooperVision Global EDI platform (Sterling Integrator). Under general direction of the Global EDI Competency Center Director, this position will oversee all aspects of the application including but not limited to SBI, SFG, SIQSS, and Control Center. This role will provide Technical Architecture and Administration across the development lifecycle including being an active participant of the Global EDI Applications Support Team. Responsibilities
- Installation and tuning of Sterling Integrator products suite. (SI B2B v6, SFG, Lightwell, Linux scripting, Oracle DB 19c)
- Maintaining stability and performance of the Sterling File Gateway, Sterling B2B Integrator, Sterling Control Center.
- Actively manage the performance of the EDI Sterling environment, including capacity planning and tuning.
- Support B2B communication and protocols including FTP, SFTP, HTTPS and AS2.
- The position will be responsible for translating environment requirements into software architecture and design documentation.
- Participate in 24 x 7 on-call rotational support including troubleshooting and issue resolution.
- Work closely with other teams to remediate all EDI B2B issues, i.e. (server, network, database, etc.)
- Coordinate with Delivery and Service teams to prioritize / plan application upgrades and performance testing
- Help assist in remediation support during incident resolution to facilitate identification of root cause and recommend ways to prevent reoccurrence.
- Oversee internal and external developers to ensure quality, efficiency, and effectiveness
- Provide technical leadership to the Global EDI Applications Support Team

Qualifications Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Technical knowledge of EDI & Electronic Commerce best practices
- Effective interpersonal skills with the ability to facilitate the work within a collaborative team
- Knowledge of container-based use of APIs is preferred
- Knowledge of security standards including use of encryption with the Sterling suite of products is preferred
- Experience and understanding of integrating performance monitoring tools

Experience:
- Requires experience with implementation, operating, and performance management of Enterprise EDI B2B systems.
- 5-10 years' experience with Sterling B2B Integrator / Sterling Filegateway.
- Linux
- Experience with Oracle EBS EDI Gateway & transactional order processing through the order lifecycle. Ordered, Shipped & Invoiced which generates EDI transactions.
- Must be able to facilitate work across multiple cross functional teams efficiently in order to deliver and be a leader.
- Strong business and functional process knowledge is required.
- Strong written and oral communication skills. Practiced analytical skills and the ability to multitask.
- Proven experience in strategic planning and development, project management, partnering, and collaboration.
Education:
- Requires a BS Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent. Normally requires a minimum of 5+ years of experience directly related and progressively responsible experience in EDI Technical Administration and Operations support.

For U.S. locations that require disclosure of compensation, the starting base pay for this role is between $88,386.00 and $117,848.00 per year and may include cost of living adjustments.
