Role Description

TPG s Global Communications team is looking for an Associate/Senior Associate to join full-time in New York. This person will assist the team in developing and implementing marketing with a focus on content strategy for both internal and external stakeholders across multiple mediums (including video, social media, newsletters), collaborating with colleagues across platforms and geographies. You will have the opportunity to help promote the firm in new and creative ways, showcase the insights and uniqueness of the firm, and strengthen TPG s position as an industry leader. Responsibilities

  • Help produce branded content to highlight the firm s thought leaders, firm events and investor conferences, and develop branded content strategies and materials in support of firm announcements and transactions
  • Help lead the firm s internal communications strategy, including oversight of the internal website, developing unique content for employees
  • Help to produce TPG s weekly all-hands meetings and other internal communications for employees globally
  • Assist in the development and ongoing maintenance of external and internal editorial content calendar across all channels, including TPG-owned social media accounts, website, newsletters, and firmwide meetings
  • Develop research and analyses on the industry, as well as cultural, societal, political, or business topics relevant to the firm and its investments
  • Identify and track industry conferences, speaking opportunities, awards, and other opportunities for integration into marketing and communications strategies across funds

Requirements

  • 3-6 years of experience working in content development and strategy ideally with production experience at an agency, in-house PR role, or other production-related company
  • Exceptional writing/proofreading, research, and analytical skills, with a fundamental understanding of, or interest in finance and current events
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Ability to work with a variety of stakeholders and effectively collaborate with teams across multiple geographies and levels of the firm
  • The desire to work in a fast paced, demanding environment and the ability to multitask on various high-profile projects
  • A quick learner, who is intellectually curious prepared to jump in at a moment s notice
  • Interest in an array of projects across digital media, corporate communications, and corporate marketing
  • Basic graphical and video editing proficiency a plus
  • Technological proficiency and well versed in Microsoft Office and PowerPoint
  • A Bachelor s degree or equivalent with an outstanding academic record

It is expected that the annual base salary for this role will be up to $120,000. Base salary is one component of TPG s competitive total rewards package which typically includes discretionary compensation, comprehensive health benefits, and paid time off. Other incentives may also be available to certain eligible employees.
