GIS Technician - UGI UTILITIES : Job Details

Mountaineer Gas Company is currently recruiting a GIS Technician to join our Corporate Engineering Team. One of the Engineering Departments duties is to manage and maintain the companys GIS system, which is the main system of record for nearly all asset and compliance data. This positions focus will be to support the departments GIS tracking and traceability initiative in its Southeast Operations Area. Duties and Responsibilities Train and support Operations field staff on GPS data collection. Review GPS data collection for accuracy and completeness. Work with field managers to ensure work orders are being submitted in a timely fashion. Move GPS data into the production database, connect to existing facilities, and retire appropriate facilities. Support Operations field staff with any ESRI related issues.
