GIS Developer - TriOptus LLC : Job Details

Job Title: GIS Developer Location: Remote Duration: 30 months Targeted Years of Experience: 7-10 yearsDescription We are seeking a GIS Software Developer possessing the ability to design, develop, and implement an end-to-end GIS solution to support our SCRM (Supply Chain Risk Management) team.Primary Responsibilities

• Perform professional technical services in GIS technology areas including application development and GIS analysis
• Provide application management including design, development, implementation and maintenance, documentation and use of code repositories, creation and maintenance of procedural documentation, training for user department staff and user support as needed
• Perform GIS application development including enhancement and maintenance
• Create, modify, and maintain custom scripts and routines for GIS processes automation, integration, and applications.
• Design responsive and intuitive user interfaces
• Provide web based reports

Technical skills

• Expertise in ESRI Arcgis Suite of software and tools to include:
• ArcGis Pro
• ArcGis Enterprise
• ArcGis Portal Apps: Web AppBuilder / Experience Builder / Dashboards
• Proficiency in programming languages, such as Python or C#
• Experience with database management systems like SQL Server
• Previous experience in supply chain / multi-tier networks is nice to have

Basic Qualifications

• Strong Background in GIS software and GIS principals.
• Experience with Python, Microsoft .NET (C#, VB .NET), Web Services, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience with extending ArcGIS Pro via the .NET and Python API's a plus.
• Experience with databases such as SQL
• Familiarity with source control practices and software such as GitHub and SourceTree.
• Must have the analytical and interpersonal skills to elicit and document business, functional, and technical requirements.
• Ability to work as a team member in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
• Ability to understand and interpret business applications and is responsible for developing applications and products to fulfill those requirements.
