GIS Analyst Our client, a dynamic and expanding telecommunications firm, has a contract-to-hire opportunity for a GIS Analyst to join their team in Overland Park, KS. This position is pivotal in ensuring the accuracy and completeness of databases and fiber optic network designs. The role will have a significant emphasis on updating As-Built information. Key Responsibilities: - Database Management: Ensure network design databases are accurate and meet client expectations. - As-Built Updates: Update as-built information in design software and client databases to ensure deliverables are precise and timely. - GIS Research: Conduct research to gather GIS information related to road types, addresses, utility information, etc., to support engineering teams in fiber optic network designs and permitting processes. - General GIS Duties: Perform any other GIS-related activities required for various projects.
