Responsibilities

The GHD Front Desk Manager is responsible for leading and standardizing front-end operations across Garnet Health Doctors outpatient practices. This role oversees all reception and patient access functions across multiple GHD locations, ensuring efficient patient registration, appointment scheduling, billing readiness, and front-desk operations. The Manager collaborates with clinical and administrative leaders to optimize patient flow, service quality, and performance metrics. They play a vital role in supporting the strategic goals of the organization, implementing best practices, decrease registration related denials, and maintaining high standards of operational excellence, compliance, and patient satisfaction.

The compensation range for the role is $29.55- $36.94 hourly

When determining a team member's compensation and/or rate, several factors may be considered as applicable (e.g., location, specialty, service line, years of relevant experience, education, credentials, negotiated contracts, budget and internal equity).

Qualifications

Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree required.

Minimum Experience: 3-5 years' experience in a management/ supervisory capacity In Patient Access Management or Medical Office Administration. Knowledge of Epic Ambulatory, Insurances, Billing, and Collection processes preferred.

In-depth knowledge of third-party Billing and Authorizations (Medicare, Medicaid and Commercial Insurance) requirements in a Medical Group/ Hospital setting, experienced in Windows Software, EPIC Cadence highly desirable. Ability to lead, motivate, develop and train others.

Physical Requirements: Travel to multiple facilities is required.

Evidence of visual and aural acuity and finger and hand dexterity to operate computer and office equipment. Can withstand long periods of sitting, standing and/or constant walking. Ability to lift 10 lbs.
  • Mental Demands: Ability to foster collaborative relationships, to work well under pressure, to organize and synthesize new information, and prioritize tasks. Possesses critical thinking, analytical skills and flexibility. Ability to multi-task. Required detailed attention to work in an environment where interruptions cannot be controlled. Demonstrates sensitivity to customer needs and expectations. May be subject to irregular hours including evenings or potentially weekends to participate in operational and community events as necessary.
