Must-Have: Basic Coronary Care certification within 6 months of hire. CPI certification within 90 days of hire. Description: 26-week contract through the holiday season. No guaranteed requests for time off for the three major holidays. ICU day/night rotation with 12-hour shifts. Must be able to work every other weekend and holiday. ACLS, BLS, PALS certifications required. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to handle confidential information with discretion. Ability to engage with others in a professional and courteous manner is essential. Must meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities effectively. Enhancing teamwork through effective role modeling is important. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organization skills are required. Computer literacy is necessary. Experience with electronic medical records is preferred. Demonstrates behaviors consistent with principles of a healing environment. This includes professionalism, effective communication, and attention to the environment. Work behavior should ensure safety, promote dignity and respect, and exemplify healthy relationships. Knowledge and skills to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served on the assigned unit are essential. Must possess the ability to assess data reflective of the patient's status. Ability to interpret appropriate information needed to identify each patient's requirements. Care must be provided for pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient groups. Skills list includes BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and licensing. Demonstrated expertise in essential nursing skills is required.
