Position: Geotechnical Program Manager / Project Manager

Duration: Permanent

Type: Hybrid - 3 days onsite, 2 days remote

Location: Tulsa, OK

Company Overview:

Insight Global's client in Tulsa, OK is seeking a talented Geotechnical Project Manager. Their offices support 80% of transportation projects, with the rest being a mix of oil and gas, power, and water projects. This position oversees the geotechnical aspect of larger projects, operating as a sub to oversee geotechnical work.

Required Skills & Experience

• 3-7 years of related experience
• 1 year of Project Management experience focused on transportation projects
• Professional Engineering license required or ability to obtain Oklahoma within 6 months of hiring
• Experience writing proposals, selecting teams to execute the work, and managing subcontractors
• Proven experience in geotechnical design, slope stability, design of shallow, mat, and deep foundations, design of retaining walls, and large earthmoving projects

Responsibilities:

• Manages complex geotechnical projects from exploration through design and delivery, coordinating internal teams and external stakeholders
• Provides technical oversight for engineering design, project proposals, and overall execution
• Ensures high client service by delivering constructible designs, meeting deadlines, and maintaining transparent communication
• Leads project planning, team development, and resource coordination—including subcontractor management and client engagement
• Develops strategic proposals and oversees full project lifecycles
• Guides engineering teams through material/site characterization, seepage, slope stability, and settlement analysis
• Oversees field testing, site inspections, and construction observation
• Presents complex technical findings to clients, review boards, and stakeholders
• Interfaces with civil design teams to develop practical, cost-effective geotechnical solutions
• Manages budgets and drives client communication, ensuring project alignment and fiscal control

Compensation:

$100,000 to $150,000 per year annual salary.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
