Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and perform geotechnical field investigations, evaluations, analysis, and design (e.g., foundations, slopes, ground improvement, SOE, retaining walls, forensic studies, pavement, dams).
  • Perform pavement engineering evaluations and design.
  • Prepare geotechnical engineering reports for various projects including transportation, buildings, environmental, tunnels, water/wastewater facilities, dams, landfills, and general civil engineering.
  • Assist senior engineers with project budgets and technical deliverables.
  • Ensure geotechnical deliverables meet quality standards, and contribute to technical and cost proposals.
  • Communicate effectively with external and internal clients.
  • Oversee and mentor junior engineers and staff.
  • Provide geotechnical support during construction phases.
  • Train on and perform non-destructive geophysical techniques.
  • Handle additional geotechnical tasks as required.
  • PE registration required or expected within 1 year.
  • Experience in planning, organizing, estimating, scheduling, and monitoring projects involving overhead and underground systems.
  • Master's degree preferred.
  • Qualifications

    Required:

    • Bachelor's Degree in a related field (AEC Industry).
    • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
    • Proven project management skills and successful project delivery.
    • Strong organizational, time-management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
    • Knowledge of industry standards, construction management, quality assurance, and safety protocols.
    • Problem-solving skills and ability to implement effective solutions.

    Preferred:

    • Master's Degree.

    Licenses and Certifications

    • Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.).

    Pre-employment drug screening and background checks may be required.
