Geotechnical Principal - ECS Group of Companies : Job Details

Primary responsibilities include providing technical expertise and supporting Geotechnical staff both within a branch and regionally. This involves hosting or attending project meetings with clients and ECS staff to provide technical solutions, mentoring Associate Principals, reviewing technical reports, preparing proposals, managing departmental P&L, business development, and assisting in staffing decisions. Due to departmental integration, duties may also include tasks in CMT.

What You'll Do

• Provide technical expertise and support Geotechnical staff
• Attend project meetings with clients and staff
• Mentor Associate Principals
• Participate in review committees for Associate Principal candidates
• Oversee projects and review technical reports
• Prepare proposals and assist in departmental management
• Engage in business development and client interaction
• Support hiring decisions and lead junior staff

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's or Master's in Civil Engineering, Geological Engineering, Geology, or similar
• Minimum 12 years of related experience
• Senior reviewer designation required
• PE or PG license in applicable states
• Valid driver's license if driving for ECS
