Geotechnical Engineer - Principal LevelLocation SyracuseSecondary LocationsJob Code 18500# of openings 1Apply Now ( Engineer - Principal LevelPOWER Engineers, Inc. is seeking a Geotechnical Engineer to join our Geostructural design team.This position is posted in multiple POWER office locations with the ability to work remotely from a mutually acceptable location (please note in the application questions where you prefer to be located).Roles and ResponsibilitiesThe successful applicant will be responsible for principal level project guidance and/or technical expertise. They will also be responsible for mentoring younger engineers and assisting in training as needed. They may also be expected to help develop and grow new technical areas.Completion of these functions requires technical competence in primary production roles as well as leadership competence in working with clients and mentoring team members assigned to projects. Assigned projects will include complex transmission projects and programs including lengths in excess of 100 miles and multiple line segments and operating voltages up to 765kV.
