Geospatial (GIS) Analyst - Pennsylvania Staffing : Job Details

Asplundh Tree Experts (Asplundh) is seeking a Junior GIS Analyst & Developer to join the Asplundh Innovation Team, reporting to the Digital Product Manager. The successful candidate will:

- Work with the Digital Innovation Team to support critical business solutions & projects

- Collaborate with development, analytics and reporting platforms

- Develop field and mobile applications that integrate with operational spatial data and decision support tools

- Undertake spatial analysis to support a variety of business operations

Knowledge, skills and experience:

- Tertiary qualifications in Geospatial/GIS/Spatial, Computer Science, Geography or related field

- Practical experience in the use of the Esri suite such as ArcGIS Online for Organizations (FieldMaps & Survey123) and ArcGIS Desktop (Spatial Analysis)

- Experience with FME or other similar ETL tools is a plus

- Demonstrated capability working with vector & raster spatial data

- Effective communication skills and ability to manage tasks to meet deadlines

- Good analytical and conceptual skills, with the ability to undertake research, analyze information and develop solutions to problems
