Summary of Position:
- The Terminal/Operations Manager oversees and directs all activities through the supporting staff.
- The Terminal/Operations Manager is responsible for the overall management and operation of the system.

The Terminal/Operations Manager is responsible for all functional areas of terminal operations to include:
- Route Supervision.
- Dispatch Operations.
- Safety & Training.
- Customer Service.
- Finance & Administration.
- Human Resources.
Education/Certification Requirements:
- Graduation from an accredited college or university with major course work in public administration, business, transportation, or a related field and two years of experience in mass transit operations or four years of progressively responsible experience in mass transit operations, two years of which were in a responsible executive administrative capacity or any equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must possess well-developed analytical skills that include budgeting, financial management, and quality control
Experience/Skills:
- Good communication skills, strong leadership qualities.
- Must possess basic computer skills.
- Experience in passenger transportation, human services, or other customer-oriented service desired but not required.
- Ability to plan and schedule as well as organize and prioritize work.
- Must demonstrate relevant experience in high volume service driven transport operation.
- Ability to manage a constantly changing and growing operation.
- Proficiency in developing client relationships.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manages day-to-day office administration and terminal coordination of passenger transportation services.
- Satisfies client, corporate, and contractual reporting requirements.
- Confirms services are provided within a defined budget.
- Safeguards the fulfillment of all company policies and procedures
- Selects, supervises, motivates and disciplines staff as necessary.
- Develops action plans to ensure operational performance.
- Ensures accuracy of data (including payroll approvals) on company database.
- Ensures customer billing consistent with operating agreements.
- Acknowledges bills incurred on open account are accurate and valid to pay.
- Determine type, number, and availability of vehicles for service. Make timely vehicle assignments.
- At least annually review the operating practices of individual drivers; provide appropriate instructions to correct performance.
- Administers drug and alcohol program.
- Prepares daily operational reports as required.
- Maintains employee hire information as required.
- Ensures completeness of files and compliance with all labor regulations.
