The GM of Install & Operations will serve as a key leader within one of the top residential service companies, driving operational excellence and team performance across install operations across plumbing, electrical, hvac, warehouse, and fleet functions. ResponsibilitiesWhat Will I Do?
- Lead the HVAC Install, Plumbing Install, Electrical Install, Warehouse & Fleet to ensure efficient operations, strong team performance, and alignment with company goals
- Inspire and manage operation and installation leaders, as well as others, to achieve outstanding results
- Meet key financial objectives such as gross margin and EBITDA, and drive revenue
-Monitor and manage key financial metrics, including gross profit and operating profit
-Oversee fleet operations and warehouse logistics, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
-Manage Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) relationships to maintain inventory accuracy, reduce costs, and ensure timely material availability
-Oversee Warehouse support team to ensure smooth daily operations
-Prepare and review daily and monthly performance reports
-Utilize KPIs as metrics, regularly review them, and create actionable plans to achieve goals (understand KPIs and targets)
-Resolve customer complaints related to field operations to maintain quality and satisfaction
-Execute facility improvement projects and other initiatives as directed by the VP of Operations
- Strategically plan and justify capital expenditure needs for both replacement and growth operations.
QualificationsDo I have What it Takes?
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 15 years of leadership experience.
- Proven success in managing and leading in a small business environment.
- Successful history of building teams with direct responsibility for hiring/terminating employees.
-Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office products.
-Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
