Overview

Cat Topia designs and builds custom outdoor cat enclosures (catios) nationwide to keep cats safe and happy while giving them the freedom of the outdoors. We're looking for a General Manager to oversee daily operations, manage finances, and ensure smooth coordination between customers and our internal team. This role is ideal for someone organized, proactive, and ready to wear many hats in a fast-growing company. You'll play a critical role in leading operations, improving processes, and driving company growth while delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Location: Littleton, CO | Employment type: Full-time | Schedule: 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday | Hybrid role (remote + in-office flexibility) | PTO: 14 hours annually

Salary: $80,000 annually

What You'll Do
  • Financial Operations
    • Manage payroll, contractor payments, customer transactions, and revenue tracking.
    • Oversee payment platforms such as Stripe, Square, and Invoice Simple to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Customer & Team Coordination
    • Serve as a customer liaison at all stages of operations, ensuring smooth communication and project transitions.
    • Collaborate with sales, designers, and project managers to solve problems and keep projects on track.
  • Data & Logistics Management
    • Handle data entry across spreadsheets and CRM systems like Trello.
    • Analyze data to identify areas for growth and operational improvements.
    • Coordinate and track shipments of equipment, including company iPads.
    • Make and schedule sales calls to help the sales team reach a 50% success rate on booked opportunities.
    • Track revenue performance and provide insights for growth.
  • Problem-Solving & Strategy
    • Proactively identify operational challenges and develop solutions to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction.
What We're Looking For
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Operations Management, or related field — or equivalent relevant experience preferred.
  • Strong organization and multitasking skills with sharp attention to detail.
  • Experience with financial tracking systems and tools like Stripe, Square, and Invoice Simple.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-first mindset.
  • Previous operations or management experience strongly preferred.
  • 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
  • Hybrid role (remote + in-office flexibility).
  • 14 hours of PTO annually.
