My client, a private equity–backed national leader in building restoration and specialty construction services, is seeking a General Manager based in Pensacola, Florida, to oversee all operations, financial performance, and strategic direction.
This is a senior leadership role within a high-growth organization on track to achieve $1B in annual revenue within the next few years, driven by proven expansion strategies and a strong market position. The role calls for a proven leader with the ability to inspire high-performing teams, make data-driven decisions, and drive profitability at scale.
They are seeking an executive with exceptional leadership presence, strong financial acumen, and deep operational management experience ideally in construction or adjacent sectors such as restoration, waterproofing, exterior envelope, or specialty contracting.
In this role, you will:
• Set the vision and lead all operational, financial, and strategic initiatives for the region
• Direct and mentor senior operational leaders, project teams, and field management staff
• Own P&L responsibility, ensuring sustained profitability and long-term growth
• Collaborate with business development and estimating teams to drive winning bids and market expansion
• Ensure operational excellence through rigorous project controls, safety standards, and client satisfaction
• Develop future leaders, fostering a culture of accountability, safety, and performance
What they're looking for:
• Outstanding leadership presence with a track record of motivating and inspiring diverse teams
• Strong financial acumen with deep experience in budgeting, forecasting, and margin optimization
• Background in construction or related sectors, with familiarity in restoration, waterproofing, or exterior building systems highly valued
• 15+ years of progressive leadership experience, including P&L management for portfolios of $30M+ annually
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
