Essential Functions of the General Manager include:

• Ensuring compliance with security, inventory, and local/state regulations
• Managing and motivating staff to deliver excellent customer service
• Maintaining safety and satisfaction for customers and employees
• Providing education and development for staff on cannabis products and consumption methods
• Setting and exceeding sales, service, and profit goals
• Collaborating with inventory and procurement teams to ensure quality supply
• Fulfilling staffing needs and managing schedules
• Coaching staff regularly to uphold service excellence and labor practices
• Analyzing dispensary performance data and regulatory documents
• Preparing reports, business correspondence, and manuals
• Developing and implementing operational plans and policies
• Tracking financial, inventory, and customer trends
• Managing sales and inventory software systems

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business or related experience
• At least five years in retail management
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Strong interpersonal, conflict resolution, and computer skills
• Passion for serving the Michigan cannabis community
• Must be at least 21 years old and available for flexible scheduling including weekends and holidays
