General Manager (Fortune 500 Manufacturing) - CapstoneONE Search : Job Details

We are representing a globally recognized FORTUNE 500 industrial manufacturing organization who is actively seeking a General Manager due to a recent promotion. This is a $600M/600+ employee campus that has experienced back to back years of YOY growth. Reporting to the Group Vice President, this position has been labeled as a high visibility role within the company.

POSITION OVERVIEW

• Candidate will report to the Group EVP while managing (8) direct reports including Director of Mfg, Site Engineering Leader, EHS Director, Quality Manager, HR Leader, and Maintenance/Reliability Manager.
• Complete Profit/Loss accountability (control and optimize costs) over $600M revenue campus
• Provide direction and leadership consistent with company and business plan goals.
• Oversee multiple projects to sure on time/under budget
• Track and develop departmental KPI's and deliverables
• Direct and drive the utilization of problem solving methods for related plant and customer issues.
• Work closely with staff to development HI-POT talent
• Interface with customers on engineering issues
• Work cross functionally with other departments

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's Degree is required for consideration (preference for Accounting/Finance, Engineering or technical field).
• Candidate needs at least 3-5 years of FULL PROFIT/LOSS accountability
• Experience working within Metals environment is preferred
• Strong Financial acumen is required.
