Position Summary

The General Manager, E-Commerce Sales & Operations, oversees and drives all aspects of Frontier Justice's online sales and operations. This role focuses on revenue growth, customer experience, inventory management, and logistics. The ideal candidate is a data-driven leader with a passion for e-commerce, firearms retail, and omnichannel strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive e-commerce strategy to drive sales, increase brand awareness, and improve profitability.
  • Identify new revenue opportunities, including product expansion, partnerships, and promotions.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, competitive landscape, and e-commerce best practices to maintain Frontier Justice's market leadership.
  • Own online revenue targets and sales performance, optimizing conversion rates and customer retention.
  • Collaborate with Marketing to oversee digital marketing campaigns ensuring alignment with overall brand strategy.
  • Work with marketing to develop compelling online promotions and content that enhance customer engagement and brand loyalty.
  • Implement A/B testing strategies to refine user experience and increase conversion rates.
  • Customer Experience & Website Optimization

  • Ensure a seamless, high-quality customer experience across all digital touchpoints, including website, mobile, and customer service.
  • Enhance website functionality, navigation, and checkout process.
  • Monitor customer feedback, reviews, and support requests to continuously improve service levels and satisfaction.
  • Oversee e-commerce inventory management, ensuring accurate stock levels and minimizing out-of-stock situations.
  • Collaborate with purchasing and receiving teams to streamline fulfillment.
  • Manage relationships with third-party technology vendors.
  • Compliance & Security

  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local firearm regulations for online sales and shipping.
  • Work with legal and compliance teams to uphold ATF and other regulatory requirements.
  • Implement best practices for fraud prevention, cybersecurity, and secure payment processing.
  • Data Analytics & Performance Metrics

  • Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for e-commerce success, including traffic, conversion rates, average order value, and customer lifetime value.
  • Use data analytics tools to generate insights and make data-driven decisions.
  • Provide regular reports to executive leadership with actionable recommendations for growth.
  • Team Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Foster collaboration between e-commerce, retail, marketing, and fulfillment to ensure a unified brand experience across all sales channels.
  • Provide training and support to internal teams on e-commerce best practices and emerging trends.
  • Qualifications & Experience

    • Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, E-Commerce, or a related field.
    • 5+ years of experience in e-commerce management, preferably in retail or firearms-related industries.
    • Strong knowledge of e-commerce platforms (Magento, WooCommerce, Ship Station, etc.), CRM, ERP, and NetSuite analytics tools.
    • Experience with SEO, PPC, social media advertising, and digital marketing strategies.
    • Understanding firearms industry regulations and online sales compliance is highly preferred.
    • Proven ability to drive revenue growth, optimize conversion rates, and manage large product catalogs.
    • Strong leadership skills.
    • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
    • Passion for the firearms industry, Second Amendment rights, and outdoor lifestyle is a plus.
