About The Role

The North Central Region is seeking an Aggregate General Manager who will drive strategy execution by overseeing and managing the Aggregate Division. You'll oversee the Minneapolis/St. Paul Metro Area and Fargo, ND/Moorhead, MN regions requiring regular travel to ensure both areas have the necessary support.

Your main areas of focus include, but are not limited to, OHS leadership, employee productivity, operational efficiency, customer centricity, and employee retention/satisfaction by maintaining a positive working environment. You'll translate customer requirements into state-of-the-art production strategies resulting in cost-effective processes. The GM should be able to develop operational plans, budgets, and policies and procedures while supervising, coaching, and mentoring your team. You'll monitor activities and satisfy reporting requirements in accordance with the Company's policies while also being responsible for financial performance, including profit & loss accounts and capital expenditures. What You'll Accomplish

• Deliver strategic leadership and management practices to support the company's business strategy, ensuring continual process improvement.
• Maintain positive relations with all stakeholders: employees, customers, suppliers, community, government interest groups, etc. Ensure adherence to applicable legislation and regulations, including environmental conditions, in coordination with the Environmental Manager.
• Understand customer needs and position the company to profitably meet those needs. Provide excellent customer service and build long-lasting relationships.
• Assess market opportunities and develop annual business plans, including sales goals and marketing strategies to increase market share and promote profitable growth.
• Foster positive employer-employee relationships, motivate and mentor employees, and build effective teams.
• Support the region in achieving P&L targets by identifying improvement opportunities and collaborating across regional lines. Responsible for revenue and profit attainment.
• Ensure budget adherence, optimize processes, and oversee operational budgets and activities to control costs and improve efficiency.
• Partner with regional management on strategic objectives, translating them into measurable goals for direct reports and monitoring execution.
• Develop staffing plans, manage personnel including recruitment, performance, and discipline, and partner with HR on development and succession planning.
• Promote a culture of safety, adhering to health, safety, and environmental policies in all work environments.

What We're Looking For

Education: Bachelor's degree or 10+ years of equivalent experience.

Additional Education Preferred: Master's degree, in fields such as Mine Engineering, Operations Management, Business, Sales, Marketing, Mining, Geological or Mineral Processing Engineering, or related disciplines.

Work Experience: Minimum of 8 years in the construction materials sector, including production, distribution, quality, and commercial aspects. Ability to discuss aggregate production issues and recommend solutions to senior management.

Additional Requirements: Must adhere to safety protocols and use PPE properly, including being clean-shaven for respirator fit testing where required.
