General Maintenance Worker - Triad Community Schools Unit District #2 : Job Details

The General Maintenance Worker will be responsible for all general maintenance as described in this job description under the direction of the Director of Operations in accordance with Board of Education policies. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Perform preventative and repair maintenance as well as minor construction for all District facilities and capital assets including buildings, grounds and equipment in order to provide a safe and healthy environment conducive to learning for all students, staff, and public. Job Responsibilities Depending on individual candidate qualifications, job responsibilities will vary among the following assignments:Electrical troubleshooting and repairs Plumbing troubleshooting and repairs Rough and finish carpentry Yard and grounds maintenance including ball field preparation Playground equipment installation, maintenance and repairs.
