General Maintenance Engineer - Pacifica Hotel Company : Job Details

Pacifica Hotels is looking for a professional, team oriented General Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Redondo Beach Hotel, a Tapestry Collection by Hilton! The General Maintenance Engineer is responsible for the corrective, preventative and emergency maintenance needs of the property. Essential Functions and Responsibilities of the job include but are not limited to: Utilize Proper Protective Equipment (PPE) as required and in accordance with property specific guidelines. Respond and attend to guest repair requests. Communicate with guests/customers/internal staff to resolve maintenance issues. Perform preventive maintenance on guest rooms, public areas, tools and equipment, including cleaning and lubrication. Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines. Carry equipment (e.g., tools, radio). Identify, locate, and operate all shut-off valves for equipment and all utility shut-offs for buildings.
