General Dentist – New Orleans, LA

Practice Overview:

– Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) setting

– Strong support staff including hygienists and dental assistants

– Team-based care with integrated medical and behavioral health services

– Opportunities to mentor AEGD residents and help shape future providers

Schedule:

– Monday–Friday: 7:30 AM – 8:00 PM

– Saturday: 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM

– Flexible scheduling options available

Key Responsibilities:

– Provide comprehensive dental care across a wide range of procedures

– Perform surgical extractions, endodontics, and restorative treatments

– Mentor dental staff and contribute to a collaborative care model

– Participate in clinical teaching through the AEGD residency program

Qualifications:

– DDS or DMD from an accredited program

– Active Louisiana license and DEA

– Minimum 2–3 years of clinical experience preferred

– Strong commitment to serving vulnerable communities

– Comfortable with full-scope general dentistry

Compensation & Benefits:

– Base salary $150K–$175K depending on experience

– Quarterly bonus potential (approx. $15K annually)
