General Dentist - Indian Health Service - Akicita Federal, LLC : Job Details

$140 - $160 an hour Responsibilities: -Provide dental services including exams, restorative treatments, oral health education, and preventive care. -Diagnose and treat patients within professional scope and IHS standards. -Assist in patient care processes, ensuring adherence to safety, infection control, and IHS standards. -Complete and maintain patient records in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) and Electronic Dental Record (EDR). -Comply with Joint Commission and CMS standards in a culturally competent manner. -Participate in quality assurance activities and adhere to IHS and service unit policies. -General Dentistry -Restoration and minor surgeries -Extractions Qualifications: -DMD or DDS from a CODA-accredited institution. -Unrestricted any state dental license. -Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. -Minimum of 2 years of experience in general dentistry. Requirements: -Background check and character investigation as per the Indian Child Protection and Family Violence Prevention Act. Credentialing and fingerprinting required before starting. -Ability to work in Remote Areas and travel if necessary, with weather-related travel challenges expected at some locations. Work Hours: -Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday - 8 AM - 5 PM -Thursdays the facility is closed
