General Assembly | Utilimaster | Bristol, IN (Main) Regular Employee | Hourly Non-Exempt | $22.00 - 22.00 What you'll do:All communication for this position will be sent via email, please ensure you can access your account. Responsible for installing truck bodies and assemblingcomponents while supporting production goals and quality standards.
- Assemble or install truck body and van components using hand and power tools
- Rotate across workstations and support team-based production
- Follow work orders and safety standards to meet quality and performance targets
- Maintain a clean, organized work area and support 5S/Lean initiatives
- Assist with material handling and other tasks as needed
What you need to be successful:
- High School Diploma or GED; valid driver's license required
- 12+ months of manufacturing experience, preferably in automotive/RV/boat industry
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks (bending, climbing, reaching)
- Skilled in using air/power tools and reading tape measures to 1/16
Additional Information:
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
- Strong attendance, teamwork, and attention to detail required
