General Aide at George G. Blaisdell Elementary School - Bradford Area School District : Job Details

Under the direct supervision of a certified staff member, assist certified professional staff with students in the classroom to meet instructional goals and objectives. Also supports administrative and professional staff by completing tasks required for daily operations. These tasks may include, but not be limited to student supervision in non-instructional areas, compilation of paperwork/mailings/assessments,etc., assist special needs students while on district buses/vans, preparing necessary materials for teachers and administration, etc. Essential Job Functions - Assists and guides students to reinforce reading, language arts, mathematics, computer instruction, and other skills. - Works with students individually and in small groups to reinforce basic learning and implement assigned programs. - Assists professional staff in the administration and correction of classroom exercises, tests and assessments. - Assists in classroom preparations and strategies for reinforcing instructional...Aide, Elementary School, Operations, Staff, School, Instruction
