SummaryThe General Accounting Assistant Manager is responsible for accounting, bookkeeping, financial reporting, and financial operations. Work closely with other departments to ensure that financial data is accurate and timely and provide financial guidance and support as needed.

In the early stage of company establishment, The General Accounting Assistant Manager will contribute significantly to the establishment of MOBIS North America Electrified Powertrain LLC. Various operating standards and systems will be established to support the construction of buildings/facilities/equipment and to manage investment and budgets. After establishing the corporation, the role will oversee the operation of these standards and systems, with room for improvements as necessary.

About Mobis North America Electrified Powertrain, LLCMOBIS North America Electrified Powertrain LLC (MNAe) is a Tier 1 supplier of BSA and PE systems, vital components for electric vehicle production, utilizing state-of-the-art manufacturing technology related to battery system assembly.

Essential FunctionsTo perform successfully, the incumbent must be able to:

  • Prepare, examine, or analyze accounting records, financial statements, or other reports for accuracy and conformance to standards.
  • Calculate, reconcile, and process payments, invoices, and account statements.
  • Handle month-end closing duties and enter invoices and budgets into SAP.
  • Assist in creating and monitoring departmental budgets.
  • Prepare reports related to expenses, inventory, receivables, and payables.
  • Manage investments concerning tangible and intangible assets.
  • Prioritize multiple tasks within deadlines.
  • Maintain data integrity and identify issues using data analysis.
  • Ensure invoice approval by responsible departments and HOD.
  • Support audits and other tasks as assigned.
  • Travel for business, as required, to other plants.
  • Complete training on the company's ERP system.

    Basic Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS) with 3-6 years of experience
    • Proficiency in Business letters and MS Office
    • Knowledge of accounts receivable and general ledger systems
    • SAP experience preferred but not mandatory

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience in finance or accounting, especially in the automotive industry
    • CPA certification preferred but not mandatory

    Working ConditionsOffice setting with some walking and standing within and between buildings.
