**Job Description:**

GCCS Engineer

Deliver solutions to complex problems as a GCCS Engineer at GDIT, tailoring cutting-edge solutions to client needs. Focus on application development, prioritizing the end user's experience and supporting career growth.

**Responsibilities and Qualifications:**

  • Maintain current operational GCCS-J system of record and support the GCCS-J lab/test facility for future testing (GCCS PMO office).
  • Hands-on experience and certifications in developing, deploying, and maintaining GCCS-J, Agile Client, Windows, Linux, and Unix systems.
  • Maintain OEM certifications for all systems operated and maintained.
  • Experience with system administration tools like ACAS, HBSS, ArSat, VMware, DameWare.
  • Certifications: Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MSITP), Security +, Network+.

**Key Tasks:**

  • Configure and update GCCS-J servers and workstations with government-furnished applications and OSs following OEM and government guidelines.
  • Provide system administration and O&M support for deployed GCCS-J systems.
  • Support the Command C2 Systems of Record (GCCS-J FoP) with on-call support.
  • Keep pace with new versions and capabilities, including enterprise features.
  • Engineer data integration from various sources as required.
