Starting Pay: $16.12/hour Status: Full-Time | Immediate Hire

Schedule: Open availability required for all shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities:

As a detail-oriented and customer-focused Gate Operations Coordinator, you will be the first point of contact at the gate. Your role is essential for ensuring accurate documentation, seamless communication with customers, and thorough inspection logging of trailers, chassis, and containers entering or exiting the facility.

  • Effectively inspect and document the condition of trailers, chassis, and containers.

  • Timely update the system with detailed inspection information.

  • Professionally handle inbound customer calls, addressing inquiries and concerns.

  • Maintain a clean and organized workstation and equipment.

  • Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain company quality standards.

  • Coordinate effectively with yard personnel and dispatch teams to enhance operational efficiency.

  • Promptly report any equipment issues or discrepancies to supervisors.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in logistics, transportation, or yard operations is advantageous.

  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.

  • Strong communication and customer service skills.

  • Able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

  • Proficient in computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

  • Willingness to work in an office setting, with some tasks requiring extended periods indoors.

  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively to ensure smooth operations.

  • Open availability required (all shifts, including weekends and holidays).

  • Confirmation of passing a pre-employment background check, physical, and drug screening is required.
