University of Kentucky HealthCare is actively recruiting full-time General Gastroenterologist to join our dynamic academic team . Faculty positions are full-time (1.0 FTE), non-tenure track, with academic rank commensurate with experience. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a commitment to excellence in patient care and a passion for advancing the field of gastroenterology. Full-Time 90% Clinical, 5% Teaching , 5% Professional Development.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient gastroenterology services.
- Perform diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures.
- Participate in the education and training of medical students, residents, and fellows.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.
Qualifications:- MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
- Board certified or board eligible in Internal Medicine or equivalent.
- Completion of Gastroenterology fellowship training program.
- Eligible for medical licensure in the state of Kentucky.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to academic medicine and teaching.
Preferred Qualifications:- Experience in academic or teaching hospital settings.
