We are a family here and we value your family time --- enjoy Monday through Friday work weeks with your weekends free !We have lots of state of the art automation for poultry processing and hold safety as top priority .Apply today and see what we are all about !About The RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Heavy Truck Garage Manager to oversee the daily operations of our garages in Hinton and Broadway, VA. As the Garage Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the garages, managing teams of mechanics and wash bay operators while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction. You will be expected to lead by example, demonstrating a strong work ethic and a commitment to excellence in all aspects of your work.Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 5+ years of experience in a garage or automotive repair shop
• Proven experience in managing a team of mechanics
• Strong knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Virginia State Inspection License
• ASE certification
• Experience with gasoline and Heavy trucks/trailers Diesel vehicles
• Experience with inventory management software

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the garage, including scheduling repairs, managing inventory, and ensuring timely completion of work orders
• Supervise and manage a team of mechanics, providing guidance and support as needed
• Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by ensuring that repairs are completed to a high standard and that customers are kept informed throughout the repair process
• Ensure that all safety protocols are followed and that the garage is compliant with all relevant regulations
• Maintain accurate records of all repairs, inventory, and customer interactions

SkillsAs the Garage Manager, you will be using your strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills on a daily basis. You will need to be able to effectively manage a team of mechanics, communicate with customers, and ensure that repairs are completed to a high standard. Additionally, you will need to have a strong understanding of automotive /diesel repair and maintenance, as well as the ability to manage inventory and maintain accurate records. Your attention to detail and commitment to safety will be critical to your success in this role.
