This position will require that you design large-scale game systems that maximize engagement, revenue, and retention. Responsibilities:
- Mentor junior designers and help review their work
- Work with the team to brainstorm new ideas
- Run play tests and use the team's feedback for the continual improvement of games
- Work with Producers and developers to define, plan, and iterate game features to a high quality standard
- Write documents that effectively communicate game features requirements
- Analyze game metrics/feedback and make design decisions based upon them.
- Have broad knowledge in various aspects of game design such as system design, narration, economy balance, UI design, etc.
Qualifications:
- A passion for games
- 3+ years working on games as a designer/producer
- Strong understanding of game design concepts and principles
- Experience writing game system specifications
- Outstanding written and oral communication skills
- BA/BS degree or equivalent experience
